Aiso Tsukashi
After being released from prison, Sawaragi distances himself from the yakuza and tries to live a respectable life for Izumi and Makoto, until a former cell mate turns up at his home. I prefer this to the original story. I still wish the brother-in-law was with Izumi, but Shuuya is sweet. This is a straight-up love story.
Koiiro Rain
A simple collection of happy stories. The yakuza + launderer was my favorite.
Koi made Hyakurin
This is a fun read. A teenage grandson of a yakuza boss romanticizes the idea of an older brother and finds him in a local florist. A comedy of misunderstandings. I laughed out loud a few times! This story is related to "Akunin O Nakaseru Houhou," which was the one where the money-hungry guy gets together with his fabulously wealthy friend, but he's kind of a dick? He's the older brother.
Dramatical Murder Dj - Aishiteru No Kakera
I watched the anime, then watched an hour of the visual novel on YouTube because I had to see these two get together (YAY), and then had to track down DJs. I don't regret my choices.
Unknown Letters
As classmates, the son of the police commissioner and the son of a yakuza became lovers out of their shared isolation. As adults, their love is hopeless. A melancholy oneshot.
Bi no Isu
Explicit, disturbing yakuza love story. I liked the couple a lot and it was nice to see their love develop. A man struggling with ED goes to a specialist...who turns out to be the childhood friend he used to hook up with, whom he blames for his impotence, and then has sex with in the office. PWP. Coworkers hook up after realizing their years-long mutual interest, and then they have breakfast! Features the wonderful "of course you're not still here in the morning, I was an idiot to get my hopes up, but oh! you were just out buying groceries!" trope.
Zettai Unmei Houteishiki
The son of a yakuza group is reunited with his childhood friend, a photographer, three years after they were separated. Pretty bland but a bit touching. This story earned its third star for the scene where his classmates show up to defend him. This story gets into sketchy territory with regards to the kid's age. He would've been about 13 when they were separated, which is pretty young. Nothing happens between them at that point but a kiss, but they do kiss.
