i swear japanese mangakas have a thing for western bloodlines this is the definition of true bromance. i liked gian carlo's character. he understands sometimes he gotta use violence if he needs to maintain the value of omortè in their turf. his nickname "lucky dog" really suits him, plus their jailbreak attempt is so hilarious. luchino and bernardo, i don't trust them completely especially guilio. man that guy's creepy. i loved gian with ivan, their interactions are very cute. i really like ivan in general, he's even though he's the "stray dog" of CR:5, he isn't a pet or a toy. he really is a smart aleck with his principles, trying to create a non-racist standard. (honestly gian's polyamorous relationship with the captains is literally selling on me, keep it up ) bernardo and gian's friendship (their bromance is so onpoint, calling sweet nothings and caressing jaws and ears and whispering) and i see luchino having a thing with our mc too (being obsessed with his blonde hair, might as well get off with his face too. honestly i think it's very possible though i'm kinda sad with his deceased wife, all of them he's the competent one, isn't easily swayed with the sorroundings, and charming) the plot is slow to uptake, i don't see GD as a threat honestly. they're more like stupid pawns i also have a hunch that their boss plotted his missing attempt until gian came to his resolve, or maybe the boss is really the villain and wanted gian to be ready before he took him on (like a rite of passage in some fraternities and such) i look forward to gian's growth as a mafioso! i'm excited. (weak to op) i felt like he's so clever, he might've picked things on faster than cavalli and the captains think of, he's the cunning one, i'm sure he can find his own casa nostre. his path to build the organization thru a bond of trust and equity. (somehow this gave me katekyo hitman reborn vibes)

last read: chapter 70 i'm freaking pissed at birang grr. kill animals just because you think they're a threat. it's your call not theirs. also estio, my kai won't betray you. that yellow dragon shunanan is after you, didn't mubien say? you better made up your mind to help rian. i feel sorry for them. full review: estio is kind to living things, but he's not a simp! he treats everyone fairly, and leave unnecessary loose ends. he deserves the duke as his dragon guardian. i think estio's past may be connected to the facility he acquired as a memory a long time ago, maybe his mother dragon was considered a threat in the kingdom. i still don't get where this is going, but i like the vibe it's been constantly giving. (like a breath of nature) i do have a hunch he'll continue to learn upon human relationships. refreshing plot, and mc with dragon lineage. no wonder i get a strong sense of authority from him. he's scary and mysterious. and his power is terrifying.

wtfwtfwtf, since when is it going to end i felt bad for the mc. it seems like it's pointless since the players are increasing. everyone's tryna steal someone's position. is there some cheat he have to get? was there a lesson he needs to learn first? is this game supposed to be a wake up call? update!!

last read: chapter 19 oh my gosh, kansei is burning up. i'm glad he's going to return to his shadow now. full review: for some reason, the storyline is very similar to shounen oujo, except it contain a shadow concept. i am already anticipating the crown prince's death, but it turns out he became a jiangshi (good thing they didn't kill him off, i'd really throw a fit here) but now shou has to act as the next emperor! oh my gosh. i'm getting ecstastic. but you know, i already have a hunch that shou is related to the royal family. look how identical he is to kansei! and he is adept to learn the skills a prince should natural to have. i'm sure there's more to his birth than what the plot showed. maybe they're twins? or maybe he's a prodigal (a son of the red light district) if that's the case then it would make more sense why he's not scared of the emperor (aside from another fact that he just got accustomed to different kinds of people due to the environment he grew up with) in terms of the mc's character, i admire him very much. his dedicated attitude and innocent playfulness. he didn't take it all to his head (like i should be sad because of my circumstances blah blah blah so i shouldn't care about other people bullshit) the way he cared for everyone around him, especially his father the emperor. i liked how clumsy he is. i also liked how they portrayed the crown prince, he's not overtly insensitive and cold like typical brats in shoujo/josei manga. i love their brotherly bond. hope there's no romance. the least i wanted to see is a tsundere girl with anger issues or a damsel in distress possessive and useless acting like a sister so he can join the troupe
