Reiraku
jolted. lowest of the low, felt this on spiritual level. maybe that's why i can relate it to isayama, he said after his aot he'll just open a spa somewhere. which portrays how important to have a life after work. you could love something it could turn an obsession, only you can choose what kind of success you want to be invested to. i mean, passion is always there but it's always the people on your work who make the environment toxic. a writer feels his work is all, but it can also be long gone without a fanbase supporting. it's hypocrisy to say you'll be contented with just one supporter because it's not. and as a mangaka who chose to make money by his work, it's really hard. and not just mangaka, those people who make a living with their passion only.

It’s Still Too Early to be Love
ey i love the friendship. they even became buddies with those two nerd guys! i freaking love the development of friendship. though i'm not fond of shouting panels because they look too exaggerated and cringe, i like the dynamic. the switch personality of uke, and his overprotectiveness in his siblings. and the seme is a gentleman, has morals despite being delinquent. just not my type. and the development of the relationship seems fast paced.

DUDE I SWEAR I WANT TO RATE THIS 5 STARS BUT THE CLIFFHANGER ENDING JUST SENT ME TO PITS OF DESPAIR. LIKE HELLO? RAPE? AND THERE'S NO FOLLOW UP DEVELOPMENT? DID HE JUST HAVE SEX WITH HIM JUST BECAUSE UNO LIKES HIM AND HE DOESN'T WANT TO BE ABANDONED?! WHAT THE HELL, I WANT MORE. I'M SO MAD BECAUSE I CAN TOTALLY GET THE UKE, AND I WANT HIM TO BE HAPPY. REALLY. THIS IS HOW YOU DO UNREQUITED LOVE. SUCH A BEAUTIFUL STORY.
CHANGE UP!!
the character development here, and how youhei put them back together whenever they're on a slump, and how they help each other grow.. is what makes this manga good despite having been your "another baseball manga" anyways as much as i don't like the romance here, and kaneko's narcissistic attitude, (well atleast youhei slap him with a mirror to look at himself, it's not fair to criticize without considering their circumstances too. and you're the same, so why be a hypocrite? jeez) it's good. mio should've just ended up with the baseball player to be a plot device for him. not like she didn't deserved it, it's more like he should just use the girl as a motivation and a passing infatuation rather than making it the main reason of his pitching. his reason should be himself, and the overused childhood friend trope should be abolished. that's just my take tho.
