he came to the mountains for a change of pace but instead met a spirit guardian on the verge of turning into a yokai. Through circumstances and them falling in love with each other, Izuki remained until his old age and upon his passing, Haku followed shortly. Very sweet story and it's a bit sad, but I'm glad they could reunite in the afterlife

it one shot my heart, that's for sure
