Bloody Sweet
completed! In my opinion the first half of the story was much more engaging for me and the second half felt a little bit more rushed. I feel like they also rushed some of the character's development and put the side characters for the convenience of the plot. They never go over the red haired guy's feelings for Naerim or how she leaves her friends in the dark from all her problems. I also didn't particularly feel that bad for Roxana but I could totally see why she became the way she was. Even so, I feel like the way she ended didn't do her enough justice, it felt like an easy route to eliminate the antagonist. Other than that, it was an interesting read.
Glotoneria
completed! I can't tell if I should rate it low because of how disgusting and messed up it is or if I should rate it higher because it got the job done. The story is genuinely horrifying, disgusting, and that romance tag should absolutely not be there because that was one grotesque story. Well done, you have made me sick to my stomach... TDLR: Girl who is an outcast in her village falls in love with a cannibalistic parasite looking thing that has an oedipus complex and things go south.
Sugimoto's Household
completed! Before this DJ I have never heard of this anime/manga but holy crap the ML is hot. I was in shock how is it possible to make someone that hot. Genuinely blown away. Anyways cute dj and all but killer art for sure.
The Horizon
completed! That was really heartwrenching; I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I may be getting more emotional as I grow up but this is probably the first manga I've cried through. It's definitely worth a read and although really heartbreaking towards the end, it ends bittersweet and really beautiful. Definitely recommended.
The Moon On The Cliff
completed! I mean, it was way too fast paced and the main couple really didn’t have that much chemistry so I didn’t really care about the characters that much. The smut was good tho
The Only Love I Know
completed! The first half was really cute and I really liked the angst. Then, as I continued reading it, I really felt the story dragging unnecessarily. A lot of the drama just started stacking up like Jenga and I felt like the manhwa could have even ended at chapter 60 or something... The misunderstandings were also very frustrating because all of it could have been solved if they just communicated!! Both leads also love to just assume things about each other, which lead them to do/say things that are just hurtful and lead to 5-10 (or more) unnecessarily long chapters of one lead avoiding the other one. I'm fine with this conflict if it's one major arc, but the author did this like 4 times over the whole manhwa. Like was that really necessary?? By the end, I just wanted all of it to be over because it was dragging. Overall, very cute and interesting at first, but my interest slowly fizzled out as the story seemed to progress just for the sake of it.
Two Steps Away
completed! It was really short and sweet! I liked it :). No unnecessary plots and most chapters delved straight into the meat of the plot. This one isn't really romance-based, it's more about coping with trauma and such, so if you're a big fan of the hurt/comfort trope, this one's for you!
One More Time
For Better or For Worse
completed! OH MY GOD GENUINELY ONE OF THE BEST ISEKAI REINCARNATIONS I'VE READ IN AWHILE. THE PACING WAS REALLY GOOD AND THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY UNNECESSARY DRAMA THAT STRAYED AWAY FROM THE MAIN PLOT. ALSO, THE SLOW BURNNN!! THEY WERE JUST TOO CUTE AND THEIR BANTER WAS ADORBS. I LIKED THAT THE STORY WAS VERY COHESIVE AND IT ALL WENT FULL CIRCLE. BEAUTIFUL ENDING AND BEAUTIFUL STORY AND BEAUTIFUL ART. Literally heartbroken that it's all over now but honestly I couldn't have thought of a better time for it to end!! Honestly I have no complaints. I CAN'T WAIT FOR MORE LIKE THIS FROM THE AUTHOR!!
Goodbye, In-law
