God bless this author for breathing new life into a genre riddled with cliches. Finally, we have a masculine uke comfortable with his sexuality and confident in his skin. The overarching plot keeps things interesting and creates an uneasy, dark atmosphere. The story keeps me on my toes, I can’t really tell how things will go. One of the best bls I’ve read in recent times 10/10
