The novel she's read in actually her 1st life.[Ch.70] There're many versions of Novel, some're TOO DARK to be Shoujo, such as those horrible & atrocious incidents had happened to the young Diana, and very different from Comic. To lessen confusion I'll stick to Comic which's implied as the latest revised version, though whole Season 2 comic is tiring dragging and Lucas can't recover Claude's memories like in novel. ◥◤ Warning -- My post onward to help catching up, may reveal core plot. ◉ Ch.71-2 The long-white-haired guy must be Lucas’s master, who lost his wife & baby. ◉ Ch.73, 78 Apparently, the real Anastacius was a nice bro but the nasty sorcerer, Aeternitas has possessed him. -- In short, after Aeternitas was rejected by Lucas, he stole Lucas's mama while he's in 200-years long sleep, then became the strongest Emperor in history. Later he possessed the young Anastacious to get young & longer life.. Ch.83,94 Bro Anas shares that body with Aeter. On Ch.89 He wants to take Athy's body. ◉ Ch.79 No need to mention how much Claude loves Diana! Her death caused him instantly insanely killed everyone in the Ruby palace. He couldn't take the pain of losing her and got rid of his emotion, then even stupidly dabbled in dark magic to forget their daughter, Athy!! -- That explains why Claude didn't acknowledge Athy as his daughter in the 1st life.. The consequence of his impulsive actions is incredibly huge for both Daddy & Daughter for 2 lives. Poor Claude & Athy.. (ಥ‿ಥ)

◥|[]|◤ The author made it fun read with many plot twist & gap Moe, though the main plot is quite drama; the Uke’s life got fucked up by the asshole ex, until he’s traumatic to have BF while the beefcake Seme is actually a softy who got exploited by all people around. The Seme’s bro & the Uke’s boss are such charming characters, the more I read the more I like them both. Let’s see how they handle nasty people & overcome obstacles. Good read indeed!
