The Secret Case Files of the Cafe April
It has it's issues and I mean BIG issues. Like the rape scene at the beginning, or the character's relationship that is never properly built. Even though, I loved it. I definitely love the idea behind a character like MIharu, and I love the couple with Daiki. It could have been perfect if the story were a little more nice to the reader. Reading this is a wild and a little uncomfortable ride, uncomfortable enough to make it just midiocer when it could have been a great manga. Oh but the tiddies are GREAT
Torokeru Tamago to Bed no Naka de
I loved it! It talks about real issues and at the same time is a soft fluffy story about a couple. Nothing over dramatic, maybe a little too idealistic, but adorable nonetheless.
3 Ban Sen no Campanella
I loved this story. It was so beautiful to me. So well crafted. One of my favorite slow-burn romances so far.
Under My Skin
I loved this since the very beginning. I love Usui Iroha's art but I also love the relationships they create. Characters are just regular people with issues and complex thoughts that are not assholes with other people. I like that they always try to create drama that doesn't come from the seme or even the uke being an asshole just normal relationship problems of people that are not psychopaths and yet they get to make them so wholesome and full feeling, even with some interesting interactions and such a good script! Love it!
Neon Sign Amber
I love Ogeretsu-sensei's work! This one is one of my favorites. It has complex characters and an interesting plot in just a few chapters. I loved how she even made the trope "Be careful of what you wish for" in such a smooth way. Yuusuke was desperate for someone who could understand his expressionless self, but if that person can read the good ones, it's the same with the bad ones too. I love how it was incorporated in this story and how at the end it was not about reading ones face or not, it was about the person, how understanding it can be or not and how he just wants to be with Saya regardless it it was a man or if it was able to read his mood or not. For Yuusuke Saya was Saya and all the other stuff was just useless complications. I loved this! Also that very possible shock about being with a person of the same gender when you are not used to, and how Sensei shows that it doesn't have to be an everlasting trauma! You can just get use to it, it can be just a genuine shock and that's all! Like it and I really love happy endings so that just made it perfect!
