Doushitemo Yaritakute Gakuen
This is way TOO funny. I love a couple of idiots! and these idiots in particular are like the best idiots XD Haji is way to beautiful and too rich to be unpopular with girls though! and Rika is like SERIOUSLY hot.
Paper Plane Play
It's like and introduction of the characters to a longer story.
Sparkling Days
Ai no Gebokutachi
It's funny and really enjoyable. The best surprise is the characters talking about how they failed to be "good parents" (as anyone else in this world), which is an interesting topic talking about yaoi. Since this is more on the comedy side, there is not much development about it, but I really like that they mentioned it. I don't like the whole "Let's make him lose weight just for the sex scene" that is so used in yaoi, is already tiring enough, but ok, I get this is an old one and depicting a couple that is not "2 guys with a perfect body" was good enough.
Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?!
Fuyu no Hanashi (Yamada)
A really cute story throughout seasons. It has every japanese element you can imagine in a romance but it leaves you a little empty since it's not evolving at all, just letting you know the dynamic of their relationship. It's almost like an introduction to the characters, so it has no real climax o resolutions. Since this is done intentionally I can't take it as a mistake, it's just the style of this story, but I still don't like that feeling of wanting something a little more conclusive.
Dungeon Meshi
This is a fantastic story. I haven't enjoyed a manga quite like this one in such a long time. It's a story that even thouhg it's full of comedy it knows when to takes things serously. It has a story to tell, it moves on. This story knows that is doesn't need to conform with a single genre, it just needs to become what's good for it to progress, and that is just beautiful. I love stories like this. I'll keep cheking things by Ryoko Kui after this because I just fellin love with almos everything that was done here. I muts say that probably the most brilliant part about this manga is that the author knows what her week points are, so she actively avoid them. You can still notice it, but it was smart to stick to what she could handle, because when she did it, she created something amazing.
