MADK
I'm so in love with this manga, I have no words to describe how much I love this story and these characters. It's not a kind story at all, it play with a lot of heavy topics, some of them probably just as shock value or just focused on the aesthetic (Like, these are demons so they can't fuck as normal people, right?), but dialogue and the tension is sooooo good. This whole thing about being able to say someone's name, coming from a culture that has a very marked distintion between being close to someone and being not that close, that is actually related with names, it's really fascinating to me. J's 'curse' was more or less obvious since maybe the middle of this all, but that didin't make it any less engaging. Coming to know why it's a curse in the first place was absolutly marvelous and it's a manga that I definetly need to re-read at some point in my life. I adore it.

This is a fantastic story. I haven't enjoyed a manga quite like this one in such a long time. It's a story that even thouhg it's full of comedy it knows when to takes things serously. It has a story to tell, it moves on. This story knows that is doesn't need to conform with a single genre, it just needs to become what's good for it to progress, and that is just beautiful. I love stories like this. I'll keep cheking things by Ryoko Kui after this because I just fellin love with almos everything that was done here. I muts say that probably the most brilliant part about this manga is that the author knows what her week points are, so she actively avoid them. You can still notice it, but it was smart to stick to what she could handle, because when she did it, she created something amazing.
