Mother's Spirit
Saishuu Densha
Motomete Yamanai
I love this! I think main character has autism (the seme), and I love how they developed the relationship without making his acts as something "bad" but rather a little socially uncomfortable and that you can get use to it. Also it's not all about "don't change", it's a message about changing for the best and finding people who can understand even in this extreme situation when you just can't understand social standards. I love it!
Bright Light Sprout
I can't bring myself to hate Ichikawa Kei at all. This main character is so painful to watch but at the same time I was thinking all the time "Is sooooo japanese". I kinda like how the story evolve and how MC was not the hero in bright armor, in real life there is normally not heroes in bright armors, and even in his own way, he helped the kid. He gave him a safe place where the kid was able to see how he was worth of love and that things should be differente. I think that made him strong enough to get out of that situation himself. After all, that is how the world works... you save yourself... you can't wait for a saviours... It's either never going to show up... or it's going to be too late. Although I loved that story, the end left me feeling sad even though is a good one... And I prefer when I can end a manga with a little less suicidal thoughts.
