Emotionally invested in this love triangle, even though we all have a pretty clear picture of what the end will be. Feel sympathy for the ex, but there's no excuse for what he did. You have to want to change yourself of the better because YOU want to, not to be 'better' simply for someone else.

I'm wondering if the one star reviewers actually read the first page, let alone the first chapter
