honestly, i don't think any amount of praise in the world can fully encapsulate my love for park jiyeons work, especially for wolf in the house. there is something so magical about her pristine and chic artwork, and the way it captures sensuality, beauty, and even humour. it makes a story about werewolves and mafia, feel so down to earth. her characters too, they feel like real people with unique and charming personalities that hold tangible weight over the story, rather than just being archetypes robotically fulfilling the various cliche progressions of this genre. and what cannot be understated is the delightful queerness of her characters, their identities as gay men and women are clear cut and expressed with both compassion and respect beyond voyeuristic appeal (though believe me she can certainly draw erotic enough scenes to gawk at). that's why i feel her work holds great merit as genuine queer stories, not just as "bl".

short and sweet, but really very special.
