A White Rose in Bloom
So far so good. The art is amazing, as always, and I am head-over-heels for Steph!
Zanzou Slow Motion
A satirical yet moving romance of two passionate highschool students who aspire to become film directors. The two main characters, Kikuchihara and Ichikawa, are surprisingly complex. The author perfectly encapsulates their distinct individualities in very compelling a manner which fails to bore its audience. Humor and story are perfectly balanced, nothing seems out of place, and pace of the story is timely. It is 1AM I need sleep.
Fujunai Process
Serizawa has balls to blackmail a teacher lol but you can tell he doesn't really "mean" it. There's like an unspoken sort of consent at the start when he woke up to Utsumi giving him a blowjob, so it isn't technically non-con—just kind of a weird push for Serizawa to pursue him. Fortunately for Utsumi, it gave him the courage to confess to his friend (who was already married) and cut things off. Overall a good manga. I like it.
Tanaka-kun Wa Itsumo Kedaruge
Tanaka-kun is a boy that basically doesn't try but isn't disliked. This is a laid-back youth comedy about Tanaka-kun and the quiet Oota who can't leave him alone.
Lost in the Cloud
Focuses a lot on the characters, and they're very fleshed out. I love this manhwa. I'll probably write more about in the future. Last chapter read: 54
Who Can Define Popularity?
The theme is simple: change. Things in the past may have greatly influenced who you are now, but that doesn't mean that's all you'll ever be. Don't let it tie and hold you down. You can always work to be a better person. I really like this one. Simple concept, pretty well executed, made me shit and giggle. If you're looking to read something lighthearted and sincere, then here you are.
