Ok, I ended up loving this. Ch1-3)Thanatos is a shinigami who watches humans and collects their souls. He likes watching one particular human named Asahi. One day he's sent to collect Asahi's soul but can't do it. As a punishment, he's turned into a human and becomes ASAHI'S coworker. Thanatos find himself protecting Asahi from dying over and over again, while Asahi falls more and more in love with him, until Thanatos finally sacrifies his own soul to save him and gets reborn as his guardian angel. What a lovely story! Cute and sweet and unique! Ch4) This chapter is about an office couple. One day Oozuke walks in on his lover being cozy with a woman and goes from being a sweet guy to a distraught, frantically jealous lover, even resorting to putting a chastity device on Takamura until the truth comes out that the woman was actually after Oosuke the whole time. This was a pretty sexy chapter. Ch5) THE FEELS. Hotaru was sold into prostitution by his family and grew up hating it and everyone until he gets lose to a customer named Maki who doesn't ever try to have sex with him. Then Hotaru finds out that Maki is actually an investigator trying to dig up info to shut down the business. Maki actually loves Hotaru and tells him not to say anything so that Hotaru doesn't end up being deported. Hotaru ends up feeding info to someone else to get out of the prostitution business. Maki lingers on the island for years, not knowing where Hotaru went, until he finally comes back. This last chapter was so emotional. Loved it.
