very cute! got kind of annoyed by how long it took them to get together because of how short the series is but i'm glad they got there in the end. also HATE that the elf shortened his lifespan to match his human husband's more. bleh. that kinda shit annoys me to no end

the art is beautiful... but every character in this makes me want to grab them by the throat and choke them until I can beat sense into them. happy the photographer wasn't the end game... he just always rubbed me the wrong way.

This story starts very fucked up, and honestly kinda stays that way until almost the end of the story. the emperor MOSTLY has done his best to change into someone who isn't a completely terrible tyrant like 100 years ago. the main character's brother is a massive asshole... I really don't like him. I wish he would have been killed tbh. I like how at the end the main character and emperor finally started to have a good relationship but that doesn't change the fact that the emperor is a giant dick head. I hate how jealous he is of his own son, it's a little funny, but overall so fucked up LOL.
