objective rating: 6/10 personal enjoyment: 9/10 the plot isn't at all deep or revolutionary, and half of it were smut scenes, even. so why the high rating from me? it's because the main couple is TOO. DARN. CUTE. i know their relationship didn't exactly have the most pleasant of beginnings but after they got together, it was like a whole new world opened up before me!!! their dynamic and chemistry had me GAGGED. it's like eating candy that just tastes sweeter the longer it's in your mouth. i'm surprised myself that i did not lose interest after they got together (in contrast to the many other cases where i got bored as soon as the main couple officially starts dating). in fact, this had me begging for more. i don't know what kinda crack the author put in here but it was ADDICTING. i really cannot stress this enough: their dynamic is easily one of the best i've ever read. it was natural and intuitively fitting that they were drawn to each other given their personalities which just mix so well together. EURRGHHHH i'm rambling sorry second thing, the art is SO FUCKING GOOD. character expressions are on point and the storyboarding + composition of each panel conveyed the scenes clearly and smoothly. it's just very artistically well-done, overall. A-tier!

prostitution is still prostitution. i don't like how the story paints it like "other brothels bad; ours is Better and more Ethical because we take extra care of our workers". that's funny. it's still prostitution. the romance doesn't sit right with me, either. idk how the seme could've possibly started liking the uke when he's been so detached since the beginning?? but it's whatever i'm letting these things get a pass because the uke is so fucking adorable when he cries i want to bed him WHAT WHO SAID THAT

i still could not like raymond for the life of me. idgaf if you redeemed yourself, i still hate you for the emotional torment you put ian through while you went around whoring with women. in fact i dont think you've suffered enough and you should've grovelled for 10 more chapters before ian forgave you. and speaking of ian oh my god do you not have a single ounce of self respect? no IQ either? what a fucking idiot. henry was right there and he's just as good of a man as raymond, if not 10x better. and GOD did i want to ship you so bad with nicholas but boy is straight so that's a no go. i'm just????? WHY WOULD YOU FORGIVE RAY THAT EASILY ARE YOU STUPIDDDDDDD and i'm fucking angry that i can't rate this manhwa any lower than 4 stars either because as much as i hated the characters, the quality of the writing is undeniable. UGH pulls my hair in frustration

if you ignore the fact that they're twins this is actually a pretty decent story lol felt bad for the black haired twin. he has been deceived for so long. sumth sumth "it wasn't you that had to rely on me. it was actually i who needed you" sumth along those lines—was kinda deep, like that struck a chord in my heart actually
