SOLID 100/10 !!!! dubcon aside i love love love the characters' personalities. they're cliche, yes, but the authors makes it so that they are actually enjoyable to read. something like, they took a cliche character and added more attributes to them and then it doesn't seem so cliche anymore, you know? PLEASE YOU CANT END IT LIKE THSI IM GOING TO K1II MYSELF also why is it rated so low i will fight all of you no but seriously WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS MANHWA i'm completely fuck1ng bewitched with everything about it that it makes me angry. the stunning art, the characters who feel like actual breathing humans, the plot, the world building, the naturalness, the immaculate pacing and storytelling, the subtle lesbian representation, JESUS FXCK1NG CHRIST it's a MASTERPIECE. i'm a bit confused about the timeline though but that's just my being dumb. overall i would rate this manhwa an "i will kill myself if no happy ending/10" edit: YAYYYYY i love them so much please give us more fluff in the extras pleeeeeeeaaase

red flag, possessive, toxic, manipulative seme. i've encountered this type of semes countless times before, and i enjoyed them, but why am i so annoyed with this one?

the art is amazing and all, but the plot..... just burn that shit. seriously. i've only read up to chapter 15 but i could already tell where this is going. that seme is completely unsalvageable. the only way this manhwa could redeem itself is if the black haired dude doesn't end up with blondie. even better if he gets revenge, but that's just wishful thinking :/

is it bad that i actually ship dohui and messenger... lmao... anyway i'm pretty satisfied with the main couple... as i am with the second couple (the baek "brothers")... albeit guiltily because it IS incest.the third couple is giving nothing! but messenger sure is PRETTY AS HEEELLLL the art is SO SO SO revolutionary istfg especially the gore and horror scenes?? the plot is kinda eh ? and the pacing is choppy but really, the whole manhwa is still cohesive and easy to read because it makes you keep looking for more

Ch77 Can't believe Yuri went from being my most hated character to my most favorite character of this manhwa HAHAHAHAHAHAHA he's still a major red flag, though, in the fact that he's possessive. Great character develooment for both sides!!!!! Just... why did they have to take 40-50 chapters to make progress..... it's was all so heavy to take in that i could not physically binge read this. nonetheless, i LOVE love love the portrayal of mentall illness because it was REALISTIC. Actually, almost everything about this manhwa is realistic, like the characters' personalities???? They're so distinct from one another and so full of depth they're almost human. a living, breathing human. This alone sets Form of Sympathy apart from other manhwas. The art. GOSH. the art makes me feel like i'm watching a film rather than reading a comic. I'm totally in love. edit: i finally picked this up again after ... what, almost two years? i had to read again from the start because i forgot everything already. but whew boy. this was just as BEAUTIFUL as i remembered. my sentiments didn't change much. the art is a cinematic masterpiece. this author is at the top of their league in terms of paneling, anatomy, and composition. i'd love to go more in depth about the art but i'll make a separate review once i put this on my other list. anyway, the writing is SO GOOD. the pacing and the flow of the story is as smooth as butter. the dialogues sounded natural. all the characters have depth. the romance is different, and i mean that in a good way. their relationship is not the typical one you'd expect from a bl, and i think it was fairly unique. it was two individuals whose broken pieces fit into each other quite well—not totally satisfying, but ultimately it makes the most sense for them to be together. i just felt the fluff lacking, is all. but their love is undeniable.
