honestly, wow, the chemistry's great! there's not much plot to speak of but the characters are so vibrant and teeming with life in their own right.

MAN CHAPTER 34 GOT ME GOOD LMAO i genuinely thought— ....... hehe anyway this was adorable and lighthearted, though nothing really new. save for the premise, the plot follows the typical high school to graduation route where the amount of serious conflicts/drama is little to none. it's just two awkward boys navigating through their youth days and, of course, their young love <3 my actual rating: 3.8 stars i think it fell short on the chemistry/intimacy part. and i also think the problems here are surface level and/or had convenient resolutions because it "wasn't that serious to begin with." e.g. when you thought the author was laying down the grounds to tackle homophobia, it turns out to be a misunderstanding instead and the people are actually very supportive. you get what i mean? wouldn't mind a homophobia-free world, honestly, but that's not the point. the issue here is the author creating a serious atmosphere only to drop the ball and dismiss it halfway. it's the many instances of this throughout the story that makes me feel conflicted. tldr: lacks depth.

/stands up and slams my hands onto the table/ This is it. this is motherfucking it. the insane chemistry, the thick sexual tension, the sweetness and fluff and the cuteness of it all, and the GOD-TIER ART—FUCKKKKKK !! I LOOOOOOOVE IT!!! I LOVE IT!!!! I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOVE IT SO MUCH I'M GONNA DIE i'm so serious guys. this manhwa got me right away from the first chapter. i fell in love at the first panel. it's insane!

this has serious pacing issues and the plot is not as fleshed out as i initially thought it would be, BUT!!! the main couple is really cute. i admit that. i love their dynamic and i enjoyed watching their antics and interactions.

cafe aus if they were peak honestly this manhwa dug it's way into my heart just by being so fluffy. i am loving the main couple's relationship so much to the point that i am willing to overlook the flaws in the build-up and resolution of the conflict, the flatness of the last quarter of the story, and the frequency of the smut. that's how dear yohan and soohwa are to me.

it was really messy at the start, like, the plot had zero sense of direction and the pacing too slow, but the latter half surprisingly got better? though only by a bit. the characters are forgettable but when MC fought back and fled away from his assailant/rapist and did not need ML to dramatically save the day, i stood up from my seat and clapped. ATTA BOY. SHOW 'EM HOW IT'S DONE. OH and there's this one tiny detail (plot twist?) that i really loved: the ML's soulmate mark being located on his eye! i was honestly astonished! 3.6 stars!
