hachi leaf's manga / #Elf(3)

I was gonna love the second couple but the reincarnation thing threw me off. First couple had a segment where it literally emphasized that finding the reincarnated life of their lover was a bad idea cause then the elf would always be trying to seek for that reincarnated person's past life and wouldn't see the person as he/she is currently. that's literally what happened to verna and fiyor! fiyor was seeing verna as wenna and not as verna himself - all his struggle and memories during childhood was wiped off and instead it was wenna that showed up during their connection. it's really sad. fiyor doesn't love verna, he loves wenna. it seems to me that the author rushed it and so they just made it conveniently have verna remember him being wenna so they could end it right there. I wouldn't have been this against it if the first couple never mentioned the thing about reincarnation being a bad idea but they did and it made it worse for me. still rating this 5* for the main couple but the side couple was sad... and unfortunately rushed/unexplored. verna deserved better.
