Pearl Boy
The beginning of the story was great, even though the beginning had dark elements, the lighter comedic effects made it more enjoyable to read. Then after the author took that away and made it even more dark it began lose my interest. There was something missing, Doosik and Jooha's relationship changed and they stopped communicating. Even their intimate time seemed less genuine. It was not necessary to add chapters 80-83 in such detail because it made it super disturbing and really tough to swollow Doosik's behavior. Pilwon is seriously such an evil person that he did NOT get the ending he deserved and it was really disappointing to see his ending so brief and nonchalant. He deserved hell after the hell he put Jooha through. And Jooha changing the way he calls Doosik after the accident was just so weird. It's like the reason Jooha fell in love with Doosik lost it's meaning and their relationship just was awkward afterwards. They're bond through their hardships and overcoming those hardships is what makes a couple a great couple. It's like at the end they were simply strangers and a whole ass new love story had to develop in one chapter because of the amnesia. I starting reading when at chapter 8 was released and waited for updates during these couple of years, and so having this ending was like gah! Anyway, the art is beautiful, Jooha isn't a pushover which is really refreshing, Doosik has a very sweet and genuine side; he's also hilarious! The story is unique, but the ending could have been better.

Well... An almost plot-less bl but it was very enjoyable! I couldn't put it down! Like damn! Why did they make the dom so sweet!? I wish they made side stories of their life outside of jail. I needed more! So many unanswered questions. The ending came to fast! 4.6/5 for it. 4 is too low!

️ Spoiler ️ This was good, but not amazing. I liked how it tied everything at the end and it's interesting how Naru had a hand absolutely everything. I really wanted that threesome at the end in that AU hahaha! I liked the overal themes of: Architect having a dream to build a home he could call home. After trying to build a home, his wife has an affair and ends up pregnant because he's unable to give her a child. Fast forward and he ends up with a roommate that makes his home feel like a home with warmth, kindness, home cooked meals, a pursuit of his heart. This roommate had done the architect's brother wrong years ago, and out of guilt he leaves. But they both end up realizing that they are lonely without the other. So, after having everything orchestrated by their mutual friend Naru in an almost fucked up way, but they end up happy. Naru was repaying kindness in his own way because the architect saved his life many years ago. And Naru met the roommate and simply wanted him to change and be happy for once as well. I think the themes are great but the delivery is rather poor. I think many of the speech bubbles weren't clear and it was hard to understand who was speaking. I think it could also be due to the translation, but there was also many side characters that I feel weren't necessary or had a very poor and unclear roll. Like many of the MCs friends were too random and had nothing to bring to the plot. So with that it made the story drag in some parts. 4.3/5
Unmei no Tsugai ga Omae da Nante
4.7/5 Continuing my omegaverse kick. This was really cute. A classic enemies to lovers where they bicker a struggle to make their relationship work. But with plenty of communication, they learn to solve their issues. Haruto struggles because he wants to be with Yu the rest of his life but refuses to have an official marriage, they argue because Yu wants to marry. After they talk and meet each other's parents, they figure out that Haruto has dad family marriage issues of them wanting a full alpha family. The pair work things out with Haruto's family and marry. They have a happy marriage of ups and downs, mate and have children. It's adorable. A good solid slice of life.
