Kimi Ni Todoke
Hananoi-kun to Koi no Yamai
Ch 41 The best romance shoujo manga! It dives into exploring the definition of love, and how to love another person, in a gradual, profound way. The author ingeniously and subtly narrates the story without overwhelming us or overdoing it. Careful thoughts were surely put into the process. The two main leads’ complexities and perspectives are introduced, nurtured with care, and developed into their characters as we see them grow alongside each other. Hananoi Saki-kun is impressed by the kind gesture of Hinase Hotaru-chan on a snowy day. He asks her out and their journey began. We see the two’s different personalities (both are of good quality with interesting thoughts and story of their own) coming together to complement and alleviate each other.
