As much as I want to affirm Claude/Claudine's preferred gender, I can't help but see it more as internalized misogyny. But, at the same time, I don't want to appear transphobic nor a terf, not even a bigot. But my opinions are still not solid and still being rendered. I saw a comment that having gender dysphoria is similar to having a mental illness and affirming to that is not a cure. Just like how affirming those who experience hallucinations or psychosis and saying the things they are experiencing are real. But Idk. Whatever. I like the story...a bit. Though, it has a wonky plot.
