This would require you to read twice because it can get confusing. I haven't read a lot of manhwa so I'm going to say this is a first time I've come across at one with unique plot flow(?) As it has multiple jumps in time either: past, present, or future. I saw a review that it's written in that way as it was like a lifestory flashing before Giju's eyes. I can't lie and say here that I cried but damn, I wish I was. The story is truly a heartbreaking one and it just shows the reality of life that not everyone truly heals from trauma and whose life concludes with a happy ending. Resorting into believing that Giju and Young-do gets together in second life, living happily and loving & protecting each other, while having Yuju as their child –is my way of coping here.

I like the melancholic undertone of this manga.

Reminds me of Sadistic Beauty: BL Side Story and some certain parts of Color Recipe.

I checked it on other sites and there indicates that this is still on-going, that's probably why it felt so incomplete upon the very last panel. The complete status here is misleading. That aside, I saw one particular comment stating: Roku might actually the one who have died instead of kei, opposing the narrative. I, too, have the same sentiment. Despite the heavy implication of Kei being the one who died, the idea of it not being true somehow crossed my mind. There are few hints to support it. For instances: [1]copulating with a man (Roku originally loathed the idea of it; implied as straight) [2]smoking habit (he hated the idea of his brother picking up the bad habit), [3]frequenting school's rooftop, stern look and introverted personality (We saw in their past that Roku appeared to be sanguine, more on the extroverted side, whilst on the other hand, kei displays desolated look and introverted That's their core personality, which is something one cannot change so easily, well, unless underwent some complex circumstance/s such as trauma). Or maybe he truly is Roku, just what the narrative is telling and he merely resorted into picking up the character that kei held–in hopes of gaining an understanding, despite the fact kei's already gone. Even so, I cannot say for sure. I probably just read a lot of manga that has quite similar vibes to this one and those happen to have shocking twists and since then my brain has been wired to look for the same pattern of events for me to suspect such thing. Nonetheless, whatever the truth may be, it's tragic after all.

What I always seek in bl mangas I read is the sensuality fused with melancholic undertone or atmosphere, and here, this author did a good job at it.

Reading this was like sending a high voltage current right to the brain.
