To be rich and unemployed plus a husband who dgaf about you is like a dream come true for me. If someone offered that to me, I'd immediately accept the offer! But here ML is cold to the core. He trusted the maids more on his brothers well being rather than delving deep on how his brother is doing. The poor younger sibling was verbally abused that he developed an eating disorder broke my heart. I get that he had responsibilities as Duke, but receiving verbal or written reports from a stranger regarding your family is just baffling. Thankfully FL patiently tended MLs brother. FL low key dissed his neglectful arse. I personally want to smack the shit out of him and that head maid, but we'll see in the next chapters.
