This manga is a fucking mess. There is romanticised rape between Akari and Shinji, and Akari gets molested by a bunch of guys. He has the body of a child (ML even makes a comment that his genitals are like that of a child), yet ML gets turned on by it, as if it's not hella weird... The positions are completely wack, as if their spines and joints are made out of putty. Hikari is a fucking asshole towards Akari, and so is Maki, yet Akari always tries to make up to them, as if it's his fault, that Hikari is a fucking bitch, that takes out his problems on the person who supports him the most.... The father was a completely unnecessary character, because he fucked off as soon as he came and hasn't reappeared yet, and became completely irrelevant. And since the "family arc" became basically Subaru and Mitsuki's arc, everyone else also became pretty much just an accesory. And while I like their character design the most (Akari is just a mess in this regard too - he still looks like a fucking child, despite being over 30, and while we haven't seen him since the latest timeskip that would make him at least 44-45, I bet he would still look like a child), Mitsuki is an idiot, who had multiple genuine offers of help, yet decided to live in misery because he has two braincells and one of them is dead, and Subaru is obsessed. I mean, he was 14 when Mitsuki told him to fuck off and insulted him, and there's been 10 years of no contact and Mitsuki being the mate of another guy.... it's just sad, that he still claims that he loves Mitsuki. I would get it, if he tried to help out of a sense of duty, but this is just sad. Anyway, Amane if I remember Subaru's sister's name correctly, has been so far pretty much just a side character who is a catalyst for other events and character, but irrelevant as a character in her own right. Which is a damn shame. She is already 22, and had barely any scenes that didn't revolve around others. And we are at chapter 22.
Anyway, this manga is a fucking mess.
