heir ml x regressed pretty mc x persistent 2ml/ ml's cousin -ml's leg was crushed d/t an attack by a man stalking mc; mc feels responsible and devotes himself completely to ml for a decade (agreeing to an affair even after ml gets married) -ml's cousin/ 2ml blackmails mc into having sex w/ him 1x/wk, which mc does to protect ml -mc is involved in an accident and regresses 10 yrs to before ml's accident; he tries to do things differently to prevent the accident but each time he does something (involving avoiding the stalker or telling his adoptive mother to get a CT scan), he gets ringing/ nose bleed/ winds up hospitalized (2ml is always there) -mc tries to right mistakes in his past but things are changing, e.g. 2ml gets much closer to him and actually confesses; also the stalker gets much bolder -it's also implied that some events mc blamed himself/the accident for regarding ml were actually already in place (e.g., ml's impending marriage) but ml hid them from mc -ml is also bolder w/ his feelings and more possessive, possibly b/c of 2ml stepping in
