mafia heir mookya x mind reader jooin -jooin can see people's prominent thoughts as physical words; when the words are nasty though, it "poisons" jooin and he throws up blood -when they were kids, jooin and jooyul were abused by their dad for having read their mom's obsession with their dad's brother (dad believed they were his brother's kids, not his) -turns out their dad and uncle had the same abilites, though their dad to a lesser extent, and their uncle was in love w/ their dad so he decided to leave (also their uncle dated their mom first, then realized their dad was in love w/ her so he left except their mom was still in love w/ the uncle and only married their dad to spite the uncle) -jooyul falls in love w/ jooin (it got passed down...), who rejects him; jooyul gets sent to a mental hospital again but on the way the car crashes, killing their parents but leaving jooyul alive (he disappears) -jooin is taken care of by his dad's friend, a cop, and he reveals his powers to him -the cop takes care of jooin and has him work on cases -jooin eventually gets tired and moves to a coffee shop in the country -one day he gets a delivery of "coffee" -mookya, an obvious gangster, comes for it and falls in love w/ jooin at first sight -jooin realizes he can't see mookya's mind words and is enamored -mookya "spares" jooin's life in exchange for going out w/ him lol -after almost getting robbed and calling that cop to pick up the criminal, and being wooed by mookya, jooin decides to move back to seoul to be closer to mookya -he meets eugene, who's the cop's half brother and has been staying in his house -eugene can also read minds, but by touching objects, and is attracted to jooin -jooin and eugene help the cop, who has been investigating K3 (drug) dealing -the cop tells jooin his brother is in a gang now, and jooin goes to find him -jooyul is still obsessed w/ loving jooin and ends up moving in w/ jooin and eugene -shit goes down w/ the sa gang and a brutal murder; the cop gets jooin to help while jooin is falling in love with/dating mookya, heir to the sa group -mookya is honest w/ jooin, though he doesn't always reveal everything (also he doesn't know about jooin's powers since jooin can't read him) -also mookya has tats and beads/// from "camp" (he actually went to a rehab/jail facility in china after being falsely acused of rape by his stepmom) -jooin works part-time at a coffee shop and ends up meeting his uncle, who's a detective; he shows jooin his powers, explains that he shouldn't use them to help others, and explains that some people can train themselves to hide their words -jooin decides to be w/ mookya and tells the cop (who's been acting worse and sketchier and getting greedier); the cop hits him and is a homophobe -uncle ends up outing eugene as a wanted fugitive and the K3 dealer; turns out this whole thing has been a plot by mookya's brother to frame mookya for the K3 dealing -more shit happens, and eventually jooin gets kidnapped by people hired by the cop and mookya's brother -jooin is able to nearly talk his way out, but the cop comes and shoots the last guy and is going to kill jooin -jooin gets rescued by mookya and the cop gets arrested, while mookya's brother is handed over to their sister (who wants revenge since he killed her husband) -jooin cleanly rejects his brother and encourages jooyul to take time to find someone else (that someone ends up being eugene) -happy end (jooin ends up telling mookya about his powers eventually)
