executive director/ mafia-adjacent chaebol x idol member -meh, wasn't super great b/c ml's feelings/motivations were never rly explored -basically ml is the bastard son of the chairman (the chairman doesn't know ml knows) and acts as a janitor to clean up all the chairman's son's messes, incl. one that killed mc's parents -7 yrs later, mc is an idol member trying to break into acting in order to pay for his mother's hospital tx and his sisters' needs -mc gets drugged at a sleezy meeting and saved by ml b/c ml at some level feels guilty/pity/attraction for mc -ml draws up a contract to sponsor mc; he sets mc up w/ opportunities to act and mc becomes a little more successful -much MUCH drama d/t ml's political dealings trying to inherit the company; everyone ends up targeting mc and making his life harder in order to get at ml -things come to a head when mc confesses his feelings for ml (not rly sure how they developed tbh) and ml basically tries to cut all emotional ties; mc is obv v hurt and then he learns that ml "killed" his parents -mc ends things but suddenly ml is totally obsessed w/ mc?? to the point of yandere-lvl kidnapping?? which would have been interesting except there was no indication he even had feelings for mc until now -mc gets released by ml who then "actually" ends it -but then mc gets kidnapped by the big bad son and is rescued by ml, then gets stabbed ofc -happy end, they get together and mc's mom wakes up from her coma

idol member x teacher and cousin of his bandmate -SO CUTE -mc is a huge ml bias -ml has a misunderstanding and thinks mc is dating his bandmate (who would then be cheating on their former bandmate, who ml feels indebted to and likes) so he agrees to do a variety show shot at mc's school -he hits on mc, who ofc is barely hanging on as a fan lol, and mc resolves to keep his fandom secret so he doesn't weird ml out -ml actually falls for mc and then gets super jealous/possessive since he thinks mc is dating the other member -mc's cousin clues in to what's going on and confronts ml about using mc to get revenge, and mc overhears -ml feels awful and grovels but mc is understandably v hurt and untrusting -ml shows his sincerity and eventually mc realizes he actually does like him -happy end
