A lot of emotional heavy lifting for this one. However, it was worth it. A story of young adults and finding your way in life. I really resonated with it, and I am deeply impressed with how the mc was able to overcome past traumas to find, trust, and pursue love. I wouldn't re-read, but I don't regret reading. definitely made me rethink some of my past behavior and how i handled relationships.

fuck. that . was. really good. somehow 3 hours passed by without me noticing a minute of it. you know the premise is of characters in a comic becoming sentient and fighting against it. specifically because the main characters were the 'side character and nameless student #13' there would be a literal crunch time before their scene ended and they'd black out only to awaken into the next scene. ironically, by writing this novel the same situation that became a tragedy for these characters became written out and who knows. the thing is, in a novel... there will always be a main character and side characters. characters who suffer for no real reason but for the plot and characters who are created just to be beaten and killed a page later. in fact, in this novel alone. all of the other people who gained sentience besides the mc&ml got hella screwed over. in fact who knows if they are living a better life sentient or not. anyways. quite the good one this one was. idk if i'd read it again, but i did cry like a baby.

honestly not a five but broooo im such a fucking simp. they're all so good looking and i fucking love it. please they're so pretty. there could be 0 plot and i'd still be super happy. but this one somehow also has plot !!!!!!!! very good c271
