OHHHHH THIS IS AMAZING the angst is written so well, the romance, the pain, the fluff, the tragedy, is so so so well written. what a fucking mastermastermasterpiece. alan saverio and hayden stewart, my kind of romeo and juliet :') also, ngl this is the type of tragedy that i like. no one is left behind alone, til the end, they're together. besides, it's the only ending where what happens would be their choice and they'd be able to suffer less than if they continued. this is so painfully comforting (if you know what i mean). everything hurts but alan and hayden finding home in each other and returning to each other after all that happened, that's what's so :') though i also wanted to add, that policeman that cared for them and like, really made an effort to understand hayden (and even still want to help him after all those years) and alan too, having a character there who cared for them even at the least and didn't blame them for what they did (but understood that they were victims of all the shit that happened to them) was you know, it was also a bit comforting to know that they were understood. even with their final choice, i know that he understood. glad i finally read this. now i understand haha. i love them and im glad that they were happy with each other and that it was written so nicely where u can really feel that even though all the other things around them is just filled with darkness, the two of them together is warm and bright. that's what their loveis like. damn i fucking love this
