Down With Literary Police's manga / #Fantasy(37)

Starts off strong, but gets repetitive and boring with little character development. Funnily enough, Yua had the most development.

It's cool at the start, but then drags on a bit too much. All the women die (and I don't really know how to feel about that), but their interest in the MC is annoying so I guess it's a good riddance? Chapter 50 arc is a bit boring compared to the past arcs.

The little bit of plot peeking through all the smut every other chapter is so interesting, and it's sad that we don't get to see more of it. I wish the uke was a bit more realistic and in tune with the original set up from the beginning of the story in the sense where he didn't cry so much and actually relied on knowledge from the game to survive with things like learning magic and stuff. The plot feels a bit too rushed and undermined, but it's still a good guilty pleasure read for when you just want to read brainless smut with a small hint of plot. Ch. 24+ Plot is back, but slow. Cool lore coming in.

I was scammed. There was only one double dicking scene with the past self T - T Plot leaves much to be desired because it dragged on and the ending felt abrupt. Like half of the story is smut which wouldn't have been a problem if they didn't promote the double dick so much, but the repetitive sex scenes got boring (I'm still very sad that modern Chaeul never got fucked with both dicks).

Loved Jing Ye and An Nuo and the relationship between Dr. X and An Nuo, but the ending felt rushed. Unless you read Song of Reverberation, you wouldn't understand the lore of this world and even then the lore in SoR wasn't explicit. This story had a lot of potential and probably should've lasted 80-100 chapters like SoR to have been fully fleshed out, but alas, it is only 41 chapters. It was slightly disappointing.
