Unpopular opinion ig?: The second couple has a way better romance plot than the first couple. It gets tiring just how often we see Zicheng dressed as a woman and it just becomes a whole "I cross dress as a hobby and a job," when that wasn't the original train from the beginning of the story. It becomes more of a faux Shoujo story with the same repetitive drama. The side couple has lots more hurt/comfort angst and character development that could have really overtaken the story if it were a main plot and fleshed out more. Main couple story: 3/5 Side couple story: 5/5

First couple is definitely better than the second couple. I wish the author showed more of them instead of writing about the second couple in Vol. 2.
