Anyone Can Become a Villainess
Preventing The making of a Tyrant
I Became the Sacrificial Princess
A terrible attempt at cashing in on the 'abandoned princess reincarnation' trend-with a twist! The twist being that the MC is just as annoying as the villainess!! MC is an adult in the body of a child after dying once and returning. The sister(the 'villain') did not return-and is a literal child. It's the one hang up I can never get over-why blame the replacement sister? they were swapped at birth, its not like the baby who replaced our FL chose to do so. On that note-why tf did the emperor not go looking for his actual daughter until now? Did he not realise? How? Is lili not actually his kid, or did he just forget the fact he had two children? Was the child with the maid unintentional, or is she not actually his child? It's very confusing. Our FL is childish, and snarky, and a very poor attempt at writing the "genius princess" character we always get in these historical-fantasy female power trips. Just...so many tropes thrown in. Did the writer mash up every buzzword they could find? Past life returner, princess, daddy-daughter focus, jealous bratty sister, annoying younger/middle brother, scumbag/manipulative older brother, naive and loyal maid who fills the surrogate mother position, mysterious and magical benefactor, the suspicious church/temple/religion, they even managed to get the evil mother trope in there with Lili's maid mum, and a classic midnight assassination attempt that immediately fails. It's just so...lacklustre. The art is mid tier at best, very soft colouring and shading, which can look nice but ends up bland after 5 or so chapters, accompanied by often skewed anatomy. I'd only recommend this if you're truly unable to find anything better-lord knows there are plenty of other options. I'd recommend 'into the light once again' instead, which is similar and way better in art, family dynamic, villainess-every aspect really-or perhaps 'i am the daughter of the greatest villain in the fantasy world' which is similar, but with a murim twist, and no annoying siblings-just a smart, cute protagonist and her powerful doting father.
