Introduced characters we're never gonna see in a match...yup, this was axed....
Gu Fang Bu Zi Shang Manhua
...and so it leaves us with a dozen wondrous chapters where an actual climax, a falling action and a denouement has not been drawn. I found myself beguiled with a manhua so absorbing it seemed like it'll never end, and yet just when I thought the act is being prepped for a dazzling climax, it ended... This series has been discontinued. And it will remain as such. (;´༎ຶٹ༎ຶ`)
Illegal Rare
Drawn by the same hands that created the highly successful "Nurarihyon no Mago". I finished reading this to the end and all I can say is that there was no satisfactory closing chapter. A high octane, intriguing manga that was brutally cut short.
Kainushi wa Akuma
Kaji Eiri is at it again... The leads are undeniably a perfect pair. A recommendable manga, albeit with an abrupt ending, that is simply worth a reread.
Moon Land
Immersive... Too bad, there's only 79 chapters. It could've spanned 100 more without problem. I want more, dang it! (;´ ༎ຶ益༎ຶ`)
Mangaka to Yakuza
A pairing between a lackadaisical yakuza and an aromantic writer. An iffy start but manages to actually retain the readers' interest.
Mielino Kashiwagi
So 22 really is the final chapter.. Ending felt abrupt but not too abrupt at the same time. It could have needed 10 or so more chapters for a really satisfying ending (but that's just me). It was good, nonetheless. See "Usotsuki Boyfriend" for similar premise. Different demographics, however. Usotsuki Boyfriend is very much a shoujo manga (with shounen ai undertones)...
15: Meisetsu Kougyou Koukou Rugby Bu
It was thrilling, to say the least. But perhaps I shouldn't begin reading a sports manga only two volumes long. It felt far too short. P.S. It's interesting to note that Akira's father was a player from Souma (see Chapter 1), the school two members of Meisetsu wanted to get into... SPOILERS BELOW: . . . . . . . . . . . . . . It's actually heartbreaking that we never see them play in an official tournament, only scrimmages... It would have been a sight to see the growth of the players individually, and as a team.
Sangatsu wa Ore-sama ni narimasu
...aaaannndd it ended. Erm, that wasn't THE conclusion to the story right? Too bad, the leads were utterly likeable.
