First 8 chapters: ( ಥ_ʖಥ ) "My Blissful Marriage".... Judging from the title alone, one would easily think it's a slice-of-life with a tinge of drama... or perhaps, some sort of comedy SOL the likes of 'Barakamon' and 'Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge'. Or it could even be something like 'Spy X Family'. But nah, this manga has supernatural facets which are central to the story, mysteries to unveil and there is much scheming afoot. More than anything, however, this is a story of two strangers brought together by their own familial circumstances.

Who wouldn't like a level-headed protagonist? He's kind but not overly altruistic and is someone who actually thinks over future consequences... By chapter 10, I'm disappointed. More blacksmithing please, not whatever pseudo-harem some teenage boy's wet dream is cooking up.

A two-volume promotional manga for the light novel. :) Those "free-range chickens" tho...

This blonde "miss-not-so-sidekick" is just... She's a dork, a charmer and doesn't take herself seriously. That's all you need...

Again, My Life centers around criminal law but it also delves into the world of real estate, stock exchange, politics and economics. A satisfactory adaptation.

This manga is a standout amongst isekai-like stories given its mature depiction of a war between two worlds and its tendency to not shy away from gruesome details of warfare and politics. Expect an array of unique individuals where majority are either soldiers, knights and or warriors. The blend of characters give this novel adaptation a saucy, comical side despite the dark undertones. Unputdownable! An additional star for the bonus features on the wolfmen... Banzaii for fluff!! ﴾`ᗜ`﴿ ︎ NOTE: As always, take everything (yes, EVERY thing) with a grain of salt...

It's gotten pretty stale halfway through. It simply wasn't quite as absorbing after 40 or so chapters.
