This is not your usual baseball manga, this is more psychological than it is a sport manga. Remains true to its byline; "Nobody wins but I". An intelligent read that's endlessly beguiling.

Now here's a story I've long been in love with... It's been seven years but I'm still smitten. I was so into the anime I watched all six seasons, the OVAs, and the specials. And yet, I needed more!!! I now find myself reading the manga months after the release of a new NY movie. 。+゜(*´>艸<｀*)。+゜

Very few pieces could actually be so captivating. Magical, harrowing and oh-so-human. It shall be remembered long after it has ended. I should know, I have relived the memories by watching and reading the series more times than I can count. Unforgettable. ( ๑╥u╥)

Not sure why but I sort of like this particular synopsis: "Welcome to the Gridiron of the Damned! Huge hulking bodies throw themselves at each other, while a tiny lithe body runs between them for the goal! No, it’s not a game of football, it’s Sena Kobayakawa trying to evade the monstrous Ha-Ha brothers down the halls of Deimon High School! But wait! Sena’s incredible skills at not getting caught have been spotted by the devilish (possibly actually demonic) captain of the school’s embryonic American style football team, and when Sena asks to be the teams manager, he gets thrust onto the field as a running back instead! This time we'll be seeing elite highschoolers duke it out at youth leagues while preparing to go pro... So we'll actually get to read a manga focused around Youth Clubs. Highschool clubs are nice and all but sometimes a little variation every now and then is greatly appreciated. ❦︎ Aoi Ashito (MC) DESCRIPTION: football maniac, a little slow on the uptake, techniques are average at best, lacks fundamental skills THINGS TO NOTE: Proactive.
