CH 62 Some pvp happening, not much happened tbh. Neuta moved in next to Jistar, they playing the pvp at the same internet cafe. Neuta officially joined the guild. After he changed his appearance Jistar seems kinda suspicious that his neighbor is the friend in the game so he’s more convinced he’s a stalker. Hence he “left the game” and only joins as his burner account that looks the same but pretends to be a diff person. cureently they are at Jistars place cause they’re taking care of his nephew. Jistar texted while they were making cookies and asked Neuta if he’s close to the person who just texted. He got upset when Neuta said no. Then he asked again in the game (he finally logged in) and asked if he can call him hyung - When they were taking care of Jigus nephew he checked Neuta by texting him as Jistar and inquiring about himself to see if Neuta knows it’s him or it’s just a weird coincidence - After confirming Neuta maybe isn’t a crazy stalker he asked him if he can call him hyung (since they are soooo close) - They went grocery shopping together. Neuta bought him a bathrobe cause he noticed he always tries to cover himself entirely with the towel at the swimming pool to thank him for cookies - Jigu is still convinced Neuta must like him so he said he will accept it but they should remain friends. And Neuta who didn’t know he meant a demotion from a “lover” was just happy that he offered to be friends. - When Neuta talked about his neighbor he admitted to his game friends they are “close” so Jistar was giddy (when he asked as Jigu about himself as a Jistar, he said no). He was worried J would misunderstand he was the one who ripped it - N texted Jistar he won’t log in today cause hes sick so J came to his place and he passed out. J took him to his place. When N woke up he was trying soo hard to explain himself so N gave him an excuse by coming to a conclusion that he came looking for his report card. N remembered he called him hyung while he was passing out, so J decided to call him that irl too and he thought N was “being obvious” by getting happy about it. - The battle in which the leader of the other group was killing neuta and Jistar was killing him - New instructor at the swimming pool. Neuta commented that J is handsome out loud and he again said they should remain as friends. He asked why N is using honorifics too tho. When they were walking back home together (he agreed to wait for each other for the first time) Neuta was talking about how friendly the new insteuctor was. Jigu took it as criticism and asked if it’s bad to be quiet. But Neuta said that first of all he’s not that quiet and secondly it being quiet is also nice and he doesnt mind - There was a family dinner that he got ivited to cause of the nephew. Brothers were teasing jim for calling his neighbor hyung and he was all flustered so that N doesn’t misunderstand - The thief appeared when they were all going back 54- - We get Jistars pov. How he grew fond of the newbie in the game but at the same time he was terrified of Neuta being the stalker. The way he saw his actions. And how he misunderstood Neuta confessed when he said he can just create a reason for them to get along. - We can see how taken Jigu was by Neuta drawing boundaries but then showing gentleness and concern. And how upset he got when he got flatly rejected when he asked to call him hyung for the first time. It’s cause he hears their apt annoucment through voice chat and Neuta picked out the skin that looks like him irl. - He was confused on what his goal was when he showed concern about him irl and kindly introduced himself. His walls were cracking. - He confirmed his concerns when Neuta was at his place and also tealized Neuta doesn’t know they are the same person. But also, it was bothering him. He was annoyed when Neuta answered he wasn’t close to himself. Wondered why he accepted him back as a couple in the game. - He was conflicted by how neuta was setting boundaries in the game but crossing all of them in real life. And then he brought him that robe. J thought he rejected N by asking him to be frienfs and N got happy he succeeded so he invited hum over for drinks. - When he found out that neuta chose his character design based on him itl he was blushing at how much hes liked. - Lol, when they dropped formal speech and N was so quick to adapt, he again was like “doesnt he like me too much” - When sick Neuta was sleeping at his place he thought how delicate and defined his features are cutie. - When he got mad on his behalf as Jistar cause someone insulted his character, N called him cute. He couldnt get over it for a few days straight. - Okay, that new trainer situation??? He was talkative and handsome so Neuta expressed his sympathy for him. He asked whether Neuta was surprised at his character or whatever? And when Neuta admitted he was different than he initially thought, he got flashbacks from all these times people judged him as they pleased. When he answered all the versions are him, since he isnt pretending and theh ate just getting to lnow each other, J realized that he was afraid of Ns answer and that it was important to him. - He made up his mind to be nicer to N cause he felt bad for being cold to someone who likes him so much. Excuses… - And then he had a wet dream with Neuta lol. - Neuta got promoted at work so he got busy. J overheard someone on the phone call him “boss” and misunderstood again. Even thougj later N did tell him about the promotion. - N invited a friend over and asked J to join them. J got upset, thinking it’s one of his fwbs and angrily told him that this sort of thing (trying to make him jealous lol) doesn’t work on him so N should leave him out of it. - His friend picked up on J weird behavior and brought it up. He reminded N how he would often act oblivious, make people think he liked them and make them fall for him. Like his college friend who was nice go him and went to army when N got a gf, or his friend who confessed go him in hs. Neuta brushed it off saying he didn’t do anything to confuse J but his friend pointed out that’s just his perspective. His friend asked N to treat him to bbq if he’s right and N hets a confession. - When they stared bantering and N jokingly hit his friend, J butted in. And he said he lost interest in that (which in korean can also mean „lost affection” so J is devastated - J is conflicted in his thoughts. On the one hand he doesn’t want to admit why he got mad cause it would give N „an opening” and if he confessed, J would have to reject him. But on the other hand he thought he got his coworker involved in his bdsm hobby and he purposely showed off to J to make him jealous. Which Jigu thought was pitiful and it wouldn’t work on him. So he wants to reject him and doesn’t want to show any openings but gets mad that N approached him in a way that wouldn’t work on him aka wants to be approached differently? He himself realized it doesn’t make sense at all. And then when he got so hurt over N ignoring him at the swimming pool, it clicked for him.
