friends to lovers - i feel like the people who said he changed his feelings rly fast didn't notice how hard he thought abt it while he was sick - he acknowledged that he didn't want to lose their relationship no matter what, even if he didn't exactly have feelings for motoki then - so he decided to confront that and ask him out to keep him with him no matter, makes sense to me - and motoki cutting him off makes sense too, as much as takumi wanted to keep their relationship (albeit as friends) he got to the point where it was painful and he yearned for closer contact so he decided not to hurt himself more although it wasnt rly right to do it so abruptly and not give takumi any explanation when they were so close - when he finally communicated how he felt when motoki kept apologizing & motoki cried oh my HEARTTT - i do wish there was more of their dating life though..
