Very much like ‘The Villainess Reverses The Hourglass’ and ‘Actually I Was The Real One’, where the FL supported her friend into becoming the perfect heroine, but is betrayed and executed as a villainess. Rewinding time, she makes it her mission to slowly crush the heroine’s dreams, expose her ugliness, and take her place as the flower of high society.

It was really cruel of the author to give us a perfectly sweet romance, before tearing it all away because that romance was always built on a lie. No matter how the characters tried to convince themselves, passion and affection can’t make up for half-truths and platitudes.
