I don't really understand the situation but I think that the members of his childhood about being a girl is supposed to be buried deep down in the sea. and when the highways came from Adriatic sea, Germany was there to help Italy clean his places. and Italy was able to forget that memories and can keep on living together with Germany and be happy

the story is about is Germany and Italy who is having a relationship as a best friend but they are doing the things such as hugging and cuddling together. everyone random tell them that they are most likely looks like a lover. but Germany always deny that statement and say that they both are friends they are best friends. and one day Italy who's just always agreeing with what Germany said recognizing his own feeling that actually are in love with Germany. so it's only when the Germany and told him about how he actually feels, but then Germany say that things like kissing each other hugging each other cuddling each other is the thing that done between lovers. and that means that Germany reject Italy. after that prussia whom so Italy on the verge of crying. after that prussia came back home and told germany to do the things right. and they both talked it out, and become lovers.
