The Weight of Betrayal
I FUCKING LOVE TRAGEDIES!!!!! HOWEVER, WHAT THE FUCK YALL THIS IS MAKING ME BREAK MY "erm actually" PERSONA ON HERE TO MAKE A GOOD REVIEW. The On Going is probs a lie, its so short but dear god there's a lot to unpack. First of all, I need more. Like, something more in depth. It lacks the storyline but unlike the other stuff that I have HAD reviewed publicly, in my honest opinion, this is a really good short story. Sure, there's a lot of plot holes but the story was executed so amazingly I actually had to stop and check back up on my standards for a bit. The characters are complex, which is a hard characteristic to execute in short stories like these, but they were actually well done. I need more.

Honestly? Really okay! I liked it... *after* the first few chapters because god damn it I have a moral code to keep here! aside from... *that*.... It's actually genuinely good storywise! Would read the valentines special again and again.
Checkmate(TAN)
very slow at the start very manipulated at the end holy shit. The artstyle is lovely, however rn I am questioning my own self worth! HATE that old man, LOVE the reporter old man I want more of him. Now, I did not expect the most Toxic pair ever because of how they were worshipped alongside the cuter BLs that I have personally loved but honestly I'm here for it! Obsessive Bottom was also a REALLY nice surprise. Not a fan of the though. But its Toxic so... It's really expected. The very last side story was kind of lacking in terms of an ending but honestly, I still personally like the manhwa as a whole. 4.3/5 stars
