Waterside Night
- chaotic, lovable, hilarious, poetic, caring, etc etc - one of the best redemption arcs for a ML i've ever seen - amazing mc - BEAUTIFUL art - basically like watching a movie LOVE THEM SO MUCH!! i don't think we necessarily have to be on the same page about him. personally i've always found his personality endearing at the same time i don't think i can "forgive" the non-con, that was just disturbing. regardless, the person he is now, especially post-ch57, clearly shows he only has love for euihyun in pure form & his actions speak for themselves. the fact that he'd remove himself from euihyun's life if he's the factor causing him trouble was a big yes for me too. his redemption arc is actually my most favorite part from any manhwa i've read & i love them as they are atm <3 Judge me all you want, but I don't think taeju was all bad, not even in the beginning. The whole deptor and collector dynamic is always doomed from the beginning. Hes not supposed to show any sympathy towards his deptor, but he does and it develops into feelings and something romantic and he takes full responsibility for that, leaving him and all. But if he wouldn't have developed any feelings, his manhandling the uke was all in character for a gangster dept collector. I really enjoyed his character development and didn't think he was a piece of shit to begin with. You cannot expect sympathy from a gangster towards all his deptors or rivals. He gave this man a house a job a life when he didn't even have any feelings for him.
