Hmm, I have to put some blame on the translation - everything felt very literal and disjointed because of it? The flow was very stilted. The story's cute though, I appreciate a reuinition as much as anyone, and there were a few twists I hadn't seen before, just a shame they weren't really developed. I like the idea of pursuing someone only to be disappointed to finally catch up to them again, but he was just bluffing hehe. And then settling into a romantic relationship wasn't constantly held off, I appreciate it

It's really just - cute and soft. Very nearly boy's love in fact. The pacing's so light and silly, it's a real cotton-candy of a story. The brother aspect really feels like a slapped-on obstacle for no reason, it's not like themes of family were particularly deeply explored. Though, I guess nothing was much haha

It's got a very lovely art style, and the first half is very beautiful. The marriage is too much, just being family is enough

It's quite silly lol, the art is very cute and flowy, suits a mermaid plot

I really hope this becomes more than a proof of concept someday, it really seems like it'd be a fun play on the really, really tired tropes

Very weird lol. I think I've been spoiled by stories of adoption being so earnest that it's a little offputting to see the baby treated like a pet, and not exactly the most cared for... The chapter where Hegol rushed to the hospital in worry was cute tho, and the art is gorgeous

It's very silly, and the pacing is a bit fast, but it's an enjoyable read :)
