Wonderfully surreal, very cute

Before I was done reading: "I have the softest little smile on my face for about 90% of this one" Post reading: Oh gosh. Oh heck. My heart. So this is definitely one of the best yaoi I've read to date. It almost feels like an insult to call it yaoi haha, it feels so genuine and loving and open and heartfelt, well paced, tightly written, nice art, fun characters, interesting thesis, real actual ace representation, I just My heart, man. This is an excellent story. I always comment on first impressions, which were a little shaky, but looking back, do fit well with the characters that would eventually be established. Definitely worth the read, it's Perfect

Look, when I cry as hard as I did at that ending, you know you've done something right. Phewf. This is a tough one, and in all the right ways I think. A lovely cast, somewhat difficult to keep track of at times with similar names! But a very good story. I started reading this a year or so ago, before it was finished, and I'm very glad I got to see it all the way through now. Lovely art, interesting visual metaphors, and of course, on of my favourites - what it means to identify oneself. Very beautiful, and well-worth the read

What a particular flavour of "Perfect" this is. Straight up, it's certainly not for everyone, and it encapsulates the concept of "Horror is comedy without a punchline" - this is that horror, but with a punchline. And gods are they funny, I found myself laughing out loud every other chapter. The way M & S slowly become more comfortable around each other (Not that Emura ever had any shame), laugh together, do things that they know the other will enjoy, it's really cute. The small conspiratorial conversation before the race just to make each other happy, only to change their plan at the last minute to make sure the other was having fun, ugh, my heart. They seem really perfect for each other. I honestly feel kind of bad for Sawatari-san, she clearly doesn't have the best role models in her life and has to put up with a lot of shit on the side. Kind of a perfect yandere in a way, really

Damn. What a very excellent story. The worldbuilding is interesting, the characters are strong, the art is lovely, and I love the cast, especially the Duchess. For it being such a downer of a story, for the part that were funny and cute I found myself genuinely laughing and having little cute attacks hehe. Very interested in reading more! Oh yeah also the way Leslie's parents are translated is unintentionally hilarious lol

My gosh, the body language drawn here is just impeccable Post reading thoughts: Ah...wow. I cried a lot so y'know. I was worried it was going to play into the "Born Sexy Yesterday" trope but not only was it lampshaded, it was pretty expressly confirmed in the text itself to not be true; Theo's intelligence, especially his emotional intelligence, is really beautiful, that lad's an empath for sure. What a beautiful ending, and I've already mentioned it but my gods the body language, so much emotion and subtle quirks put into every single frame. Such a gorgeous work

Such a lovely story. The chemistry between these two is quite strong and the progression of their relationship is easily paced and adorable. I loved watching them grow, not just closer together, but as people <3 Also, the more I think about it, it really takes a strong art direction to be able to pull of a story like this one, since it's so centered around expressions and false images - it's really nailed just how fake the expressions are without ever feeling cartoony! Impressive

A beautiful little Tera story~ The beginning's a little uncomfortable but it's baddies so I guess it's fine - the rest is just rather suggestive and the art is beautiful. I aspire to be Liam Ch.3-5 Update: Oof. I still adore it, it's so easy to dislike Liam but he's technically just as in the right as Kova is. Kova is naive, and while Liam doesn't really try to exploit that aspect of him, he also doesn't suffer it. He's cruel in an uncaring way, but Kova inserted himself into Liam's life, and when faced with what he's really like, still gets to choose how he handles it. It's really finely crafted, I don't begrudge Liam his lifestyle, but my heart goes out to Kova Ch.9 Update: Seriously....What is Liam? Also, the author's notes are delightfully relatable. Finally someone with distinguished taste! Also for being a neophyte to the medium, gods what a gorgeous style! The svelte forms and so many different body types, faces - just beautiful Ch.11.5 Update: The chibis are so much, they're everything. Also, as much as I love human Cavo, the long hair is really lovely, I hope the author never actually turns him into a human. Let me have my tera, pls ;u; Also the Beauty and the Beast role reversal? Yes, absolutely

The only way I can really describe this is that it flows seamlessly. The past, the present, dreams and goals, learning ballet, family drama, deteriorating health, everyone's personal lives - there is not a moment of unsteady plotting, it all moves in a perfect dance around each plot point. It's masterful. I find myself caring about just about every aspect - grandpa's family and his life at home, dealing with his sons and their conflicting perspectives just based on the people they are - how he's going to improve at ballet while battling against the inevitable - Chae Rok's happiness and cattiness and how he feels so much like family - it's all just beautiful. I care about and know at least something about every single side character, and that is a feat all by itself. What a gorgeous story

I know it's gauche to compare artists, even to their own work, but coming hot off the heels of Ojisama to Neko, this is not at all what I was expecting from this author. That said, gods what a fantastic story. The action is really amazing, not something I was expecting even a bit, the expressions are beautiful, every god is very distinct, and it's both really funny and really heartfelt! Although I suppose I was expecting those last two hehe. Seeing Vlad's change of heart over time and finally seeing just how Tsukigata died after so long hearing about it, ah. Everyone loves Vlad these days, and for good reason. It's so cool to see the intersection of cultures heh
