I have to agree with the other comments that the uke in the second story was very pathetic. Maybe if there was a second chapter for that story showing his developing feelings for the seme it would be different. Instead it just makes you feel sorry for the seme being so in love with someone who doesn't love him back and is only with him because he can't be with the man he loves. The first story is adorable and the ending story is quite nice.
