At first, I was so annoyed how she can't think of anything except for ways to seduce him. But their romance was kinda cute, the ML was hot and she was adorable so I kept on reading. What's the use of knowing the story when u don't use the knowledge anywhere? But the story got better and she found means to help herself without depending on the ML. Update: Their romance is so good in the recent chapters. For that I would raise my rating from 3/5 to 4.5/5

If we exclude his whole massacre thing in the beginning, this is actually a fine story. The romance building, and the way the FL slowly educates herself are really good. The only thing that bothered me was that he used weak women to satisfy his blood lust and even felt no remorse about it. I mean, whatever political games he's playing with those concubines and their backgrounds, I'm sure none of those women did any crime worthy of death. No wise ruler would kill their own citizens like that. He could've used death row prisoners instead. No matter how much he wanted to use his weakness for political leverage, no sane person would justify bringing in concubines and killing them. Does he think women are expendable momentary pain killers? What was the author even thinking? If we ignore this one point, it's a good and entertaining read.

Ah how did I come back to reading a manhwa where FL is naive? But I have to admit it has its good moments and is funny. Not bad. But I really don't prefer plots where the FL is just a chess piece, naive and unaware of what's actually happening. And can we talk about how many times this stupid girl whacked three princes on the head or gut? She would be hanged srsly.. she's so clueless that it's annoying. Even the plot seems all over the place. Nevertheless, I'll give it 3 stars since it's funny.

Believe me or not, despite the heart mincing angst, their relationship is one for the history books. The plot is very dense, intricate and absolutely enjoyable to the core. But it's not for the sensitive ones. It's too heart breaking. Read at your own discretion. I ask yall to read the novel.

Let me be honest. At first, the story didn't seem that interesting, MC choosing to enter the palace for the sake of her parents whom she wasn't even familiar with didn't make sense, even the art was so-so. I thought I would drop it midway. But it surprisingly got interesting. Atleast for me. I got hooked. Rather than the whole plot, I love the ending chapters more. They were somehow fulfilling
