A Trace of the Wonder
The ML(? Not sure if he is but he's the one in the cover) creeped me out and that never happens since I have a lot of tolerance for weird charas but this guy is being so "hostile" for no reason. He's acting as if MC is committing a crime when it's understandable why he would be desperate w saving his friends. It's too early to review this but if u ignore the creepy ML, the story's not so bad. It's giving me Omniscient Reader vibes. Will wait for updates~
Mayday mayday mayday!
TW: r@pe (spoilers: it was only said in passing but MC was r@ped by his relative), sexuality related trauma (from MC), hom0ph0bia (from MC's cousin) and violence (as expected w mafia stories of course) . . . (More spoilers) Other than the trigger warnings, this was more of a rom-com. This wouldv been dark had it been showed in someone else's POV but the author somehow made it work with making the scenes light-hearted enough. Some scenes feels a little dubc0n, but the MC himself said he wasnt forced by ML at all nearing the end of the story, so we can write it off as consensual. ML is manipulative, cunning and possessive, which pass him of as a little yandere, but MC is strong enough to handle him, and not as weak-willed. It's a good story and it ended pretty well anyways. I lowkey wish there'd be some side stories tho.
Ex vs. Stalker
TW: violence (not sure if there's more to tag) . . . I stopped reading after 5 chapters, checked a little on the latest ones. I don't feel the psychological aspect, it's a little badly written. The timeline is all over the place, it doesn't flow smoothly. The premise is interesting but that's where it ends. There's too many flashbacks and sometimes a flashback within a flashback. I wish the execution was made better than this.
The Desire to Kill
This should have the tragedy tag (TW for violence) Butcherboy's done it again: same as "household affairs", good until the ending One of the most sadistic authors i've encountered, the story will give u a wild ride up until the unsatisfactory ending. It was really good tho, but you might want to just skip half of ch. 36 and the entirety of ch. 37
If You Don't Know The Novel, You Will Die
No no, if this is a promo *I* WILL DIE. Hoping it's not! It seems from the preview that MC needs to go to these worlds where she need to correct them? There's a male lead that looks like Ahin o///o crossing my fingers this isnt a promo! If it isnt, will edit this for a proper review!
Interview with a Murderer
TW: manipulation, dr*gged, murder, violence, etc. . 4.5/5, all loose ends tied up well from start to finish. The story is so good I love the uno reverse card by the end. It's my first time encountering a character like Clark, it's very refreshing. I feel a little unsatisfied with the ending but I know why it has to end that way. The secondary theme of the webtoon I believe is "love", and you can clearly see by the end of the webtoon who exactly loves who. An unconventional love triangle loop. Worth the read, highly recommended if you don't mind dark themes. (My fave chara has to be the chief inspector, i wish he had more scenes <3)
I Became the Daughter-In-Law of the Villain Because I'm Terminally Ill!
THIS IS SO CUTE!! BE PREPARED FOR CUTENESS OVERLOAD!! The art is adorable and gorgeous, and the story may be a common trope but the way they presented the story is interesting so far!! Our MC got isekai'd at a story she was reading before, and tries not to d!e from her terminal illness in this world. Since she gets married to the original story's villain's son, she thinks that the villain (or the duke in this case) deliberately planned her og body's death to make his son remarry the protag of the og story. But from reading this, we see that might not be the case as both father-son combo seems to care for MC in their own ways. Their gap is cute, our MC looks cute, everything in this webtoon SCREAMS CUTENESS!! Waiting for more chapters!!
