This author really loves using mental illness as plot rwist and a very bad one. Excuse me? Her safe space is the ML's bedroom when that's where she got r*ped? And everytime ML does something shitty they blame it on his mental illness. Author be like Oprah: "u got a mental illness! u got a mental illness! Everybody got a mental illness!" for drama. It's sh!t. I just wanted to see the only interesting chara, 2nd ML charles mo, to be happy, cuz at least he tried to change himself despite his lowkey toxicity ("if i dont hav u, my world will be nothing" kind of line) but seriously, home girl couldv chosen anyone but the two of them when she got her freedom. Heck, i even wanted her to just choose the damn robot, he was more caring than all the other MLs.
ML is sh!t is the tldr, but for the long version he's very toxic and even gets physical towards FL. He made FL dependent on him, doesn't care abt her opinions, he's very abus!ve ngl. Then we see FL get touched when he took care of her when she was in a psychological shock, she really thinks he cares about her which is sad. Remember that abus!ve people *can* be sweet, but they'd still be forceful @ u when things dont go their way. The way it's romantacized here as if him "saving" her justified his ab*se and r*pe and blackmailing and all that cr@p makes me sick to my stomach. Not even worth putting in male yandere category, he's a sc*m. Plus, author pass it off as him just being a tsundere who can't express his feelings - so is that any excuse to make his character express his feelings in the most abus!ve, f*cked up way, author? I'd give this a 0.5 out of 10 stars if I could. The .5 is for the effort.
