He even degraded Lily just to manipulate her ugh i hate charas like this Vlad tho omg he's so whipped for Lily

TW: contains a lot of violence, blood, r@pe, toxic relationship, dr*gs, ab*se (ML's parents are ab*sive), tr@uma, etc. . . . This is really interesting since it tackles the power imbalance with MC (jiwook) and ML (seungeon) properly and we're seeing how it keeps on not working out between them. They were just too different, and neither seems to understand how and why they dont see eye to eye. Please be warned, seungeon *did* r@pe jiwook as there were no consent, this was around the latest chapters. As for toxic relationship, u can clearly see it with the way seungeon has been clinging is unhealthy, and jiwook is also at fault for not properly communicating their wants or needs. Regardless, jiwook is still a victim, bcuz so far going into s2 it seems he's always been just being swayed by the people around him, including the friend he's now living with. Both of them needs to get help. I'm interested in how the author wants this story to go, seeing how bleak it all seems.

TW: possessiveness, a little toxic relationship, male yandere, violence, manipulative chara, extreme jealousy, controlling behaviors, etc. (Contains spoilers!!!) . . Story is a little inconsistent, just because the author wants to show the FL as innocent. She wonders why everyone thinks ML is scary when she already knew his character from the novel. Obviously people are scared of him because he k!lls people without mercy! But yes, it does feel like the author wants the FL to be everything all at once (innocent, cute, strong, not strong enough to protect herself, smart, a little naive, independent, a little possessive, etc) that her personality has become inconsistent. The emperor is more 1 dimensional, he exists only to simp for the FL. No chara development whatsoever, he only stopped war bcuz the FL didn't like it, and he didn't want to risk losing her favor. Male Yandere rating of 8.0 out of 10, would've been higher if it weren't for the execution of the story. Great if u don't want to think much and/or want to pass time leisurely or just want quick yandere-ish story. Not great if ur expecting a very meaningful story outside of the romance element, even the conflict they have is centered on their romance. Also since it's romanticized here I feel the need to warn ppl that the ML (Kasha) here is very manipulative despite how kind he may seem (as he's a yandere,) so if he ever reminds you of a man in your life (like how possessive he can be) please seek help. It's all good in fiction but real ppl can hurt u so be careful. (Some examples are how Kasha, the ML, goes thru great lengths so ppl dont even look the FL, Charlie's way. Or how he dislikes even women touching her or being with her. In real life it is unhealthy, and can quickly go from toxic to abusive.) Last warning, if reading this is not your cup of tea, you might want to choose another book to read.

Kept rereading this to make sense of latest chapters, hold on tight because there might be some Manipulate Mansplain Malewife Seonghoon going on ️TW: since I suspect ML might be a lowkey yandere, all yandere warnings apply, including possessiveness, controlling, manipulation, baby trapping(?) and etc. At this point we don't really see his P.O.V., so bear in mind these are all "theories" based on the current available infos we have... . CURRENT CHAPTERS SPOILERS: . . . I already knew Seonghoon (ML) was sly at the very first part but recent chapters seems to be telling us there's more to him than being sly! Explanation of how I concluded Seonghoon might have baby trapped Seoyoo below: First "red flag" was when he didn't want to let Seoyoo (MC) out of the room the first time he did it with him. This was the start, he didn't want to let go of Seoyoo right from the get go. Second was going to Seoyoo's house saying MC told him his address when drunk, but we know this isn't true! Then they had seggs, and according to the latest chapter, this was where Seonghoon stopped taking birth control. (This is important, keep this in mind) And with the current chapters, Seonghoon stated that during Seoyoo's heat he said he wanted to have a family (Seonghoon twisted Seoyoo's words of "i'm the only one without a family" during his drunken heat) and wanted two kids (Seoyoo was talking to himself in the taxi on Dec. 24th, of the things he should say on his blind date). Seonghoon gave an overly detailed info about what Seoyoo "wanted", and taking advantage of Seoyoo drunk and in heat (in Seoyoo's own words, "I can't remember anything when I'm in heat") and we all know beyond "wanting a boyfriend" and "not having a family", Seoyoo didn't say anything about wanting kids then. He even stated before they had seggs the first time that he wanted to d!e at 27, but in the detailed info of what Seoyoo "said" drunk to Seonghoon, Seonghoon claims that Seoyoo said he wanted to get married at 30. Now remember when Seonghoon first stopped birth control? It was around December, and then a little after New years Seoyoo is already having morning sickness. And, the baby is 11 weeks old, "maybe less". This is in line to when Seonghoon first stopped taking his birth control. He knew this would happen, which is why he was moving so fast, looking for a house for them, introducing him to his parents, all without letting Seoyoo know. If we try to look at Seonghoon's perspective, he was probably thinking something along the lines of "I'll never let you run away the second time", thus the baby trapping. And it worked so well and this story passes off as some kind of rom-com because Seoyoo, the MC isn't aware this is happening, and didn't even realize just how much Seonghoon is (Obsessed? Possessive?) in love with him. Damn, I've seen sly MLs but this one I almost believed him about MC wanting to start a family, that I had to check previous chapters. ‍ I thought he's only keeping tabs on MC.. and I also couldn't tell how much he loves Seoyoo until the latest chapters, questionable disappearances of MC's enemies aside :x (i'm a webtoon only reader for this story so if this has a novel and i got something wrong please forgive me!)

For those iffy about a 9 yr old FL being married off to a 20 y.o. ML, this is a historically accurate webtoon, if you don't like it just don't read it. Also they never really interacted at all until she's almost 19, he never really got attracted to her until they started having conversation more in FL's new life. Are ya'll even reading the same webtoon? Time and time the author says the times they've gotten closer to show that their relationship slowly progressed outside of what we know. They weren't in love when she was underaged. Anyways! This is an author who did their research and it took me by surprise - like deadass i went in this story w low expectations but I SHOULDN'T HAVE SDJDWKDJ THANK YOU FOR THE HISTORICALLY ACCURATE CLOTHINGS OH MY GOD TT it's nice to see it in a webtoon, not to mention Jousting, something that also exists during the renaissance period! Their clothes are reminiscent of Italian Renaissance <3 This is my new favorite cuz the author not only shows how good they are at art and building a story, but for having an eye for small details like this. Even the way the characters' movement flows is continuous as if you're watching a movie, like how the 2nd prince held a rose, and played with it. This author is amazing!️ Also for possessive ML wanters, I mean Zachary is a little possessive but not to the point of being toxic so this is such a huge treat♡♡ suspecting 2nd prince is a male yandere, 15/10 rating, god i can't wait to see more of him o///o Will edit this if i think of something more to add, but this is my review for now!
